What exactly is &Swapp?
&Swapp is the home swapping platform built for flexibility. You create your project: destinations, possible dates, ideal length. We then suggest swaps that are compatible with other members' projects. No rental, no sublet: a real swap.
How are members verified?
Every member completes a detailed profile and their identity is verified. Before confirming a swap, you can view the other member's profile, chat with them and ask all your questions.
How much does a swap cost?
From €29 per swap. The price depends on the length of the stay, not the home: you don't pay per night. The longer your stay, the better the swap.

Can I swap for just a few days?
Yes. A weekend, a week, a month or more: your project sets the length.
Do I have to swap at the same time?
No! You can do a simultaneous swap (you both leave at the same time) or a deferred swap (you host in January, you leave in March). It's flexible.
Can I swap if I'm a tenant?
In most cases, yes. A swap between individuals is not a short-term rental: there is no payment between members (the swap fee goes to &Swapp). We help you understand the framework that applies to your situation before you confirm.
Should I tell my landlord?
It's often a good idea. There's no payment between members and no sublet, but your lease may set rules on how the home is occupied. &Swapp helps you clarify this before you confirm your swap.
How can I be sure my home will be respected?
Identities are verified, profiles are detailed, and you agree on the swap rules together before leaving. A review is published after each swap. And the other member opens their own home to you: reciprocity is the best guarantee.
What happens if a swap is cancelled?
You let the other member and the &Swapp team know as soon as possible. We help you find a solution: new dates or another swap compatible with your project.
What does &Swapp cover?
&Swapp covers the framework of the swap: identity checks, detailed profiles, chat before confirmation, clear swap rules and team support before, during and after the swap. And if a problem comes up during your swap, the &Swapp guarantee takes over.
