This October I’ll be moving to Dunedin to spend about six months for my Master’s thesis at the University of Otago, and I’m incredibly happy and excited about this opportunity! I’m currently looking for a place to stay in Dunedin from mid-October until the end of May. In return, I’d be happy to offer my room in Hamburg during the same period if anyone is interested in a room swap—or perhaps you know someone who is planning to spend a semester or a few months in Germany.

Description

My room in Hamburg is about 25 m², fully furnished, and located in a central yet peaceful neighbourhood. The beautiful Außenalster is only a few minutes’ walk away, and the University of Hamburg can be reached in around 10 minutes by bike. There are plenty of nice cafés, restaurants and supermarkets close by, and the apartment also has access to a lovely garden. You’ll be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with one friendly flatmate. I have a stand up paddle board which the guest could use free of charge. The apartment is only a few metres from one of the most popular paddleboarding spots in Hamburg, and it’s a really nice option to explore the city from the water 🙂 and I would also have a bicycle !
